behind the dark lens you'd be letting in more UV light than you naturally would if your eyes were unprotected but the unhindered light causes your pupils to constrict letting in less light( both visible & invisible UV). The extra UV from dilated pupils can lead to retinal damage( over a long period though...) do you wanna risk it?
Purchased the Black Fire Revo and the Black Sun Revo. I am very pleased with my purchases. I was concerned about sizing initially, I needed a wide temple to temple size, these baby ralph lauren ap arrived is not obviously representative of the physical size of the strap . The cord whilst nice and elasticated is thin and looks like a shoe lace. I would ,on reflection , select next time ,a better known brand name product which in my experience tend to use more sunstancial cord.
